My favorite picks – happy Halloween!

1. Printable Russian Doll Halloween Garland from Happythought via Poppytalk. How obscenely adorable are these? Perfect for my Russian obsession. Очень симпaтичня.

 2. Fiendish Fancies by Mr. Kipling. The perfect amount of sugar for this weekend. I may have had a box already.

3. Black Skull Money Bank from Urban Outfitters. Is it weird that I would keep this out all year? Well I would.
4. Candy corn pillows by Lion Brand Yarn {you must join to view the pattern}. I wanted to crochet these on a larger scale as pillows this Halloween, but (wait for it) there was no orange yarn in Dublin. Anywhere. Big fat sad face.
5. Haunted House Silhouettes by Jeffery Rudell via Poppytalk. Further proof that I need a house of my own. Such a simple and extremely effective idea.

My favorite picks – getting in gear

1. All you can eat Sunday’s at Yo! Sushi. Need I say more?
2. Puma BodyTrain LSI’m getting my ass in gear since I’m painfully unfit, and these babies are doing it. I’ve been so good recently, walking 3.6km every morning. Plus, they’re really comfortable. Now, where’s my bag of Minstrels …
3. Crivit raincoat from LIDL. That’s right, a raincoat. I went in to get a bottle of wine the other day, and came out with this raincoat. But seriously, it’s miles better than my previous, and I’ve used it every day this week.
4. House and Home September/October edition. It’s been in my handbag for the past two weeks, and for good reason. I don’t want to say why, because I don’t want to jinx it 🙂
It’s kind of been a very long time since I updated my favorite picks. Probably because I think it’s a bit silly, but it forces me to keep track of the things I’ve found useful or cute over the past week or two.

My favorite picks – guilty pleasures

1. colourB4. I’ve dyed my hair for four years. From brown to orange, purple, screaming red and harsh black. I tried colourB4 last night {I’m sick of touching up my blond roots} and I am amazed at how it lifted all that dye.
2. Martha Stewart Weddings. This is a huge guilty pleasure. It’s full of projects I can’t wait to get my hands on.
3. LA Ink. Keeping me sane through the mind numbing hours of AutoCAD.
4. Next Home. Having never been, I wandered in to have a look. I was met with an entire section dedicated to hydrangeas. I’ll be back.
