Instagram roundup – April

April has been quite the whirlwind. There were a lotta ups and a few downs. We celebrated our 8 year dating anniversary {do you guys still do that? I feel now that we’re married, that kinda overrides our dating anniversary, but we’re still going to celebrate it}, and April also brought some kick-ass weather which is set to continue, so if you follow me on Instagram, prepare your retinas for a lot of pictures of me holding stuff or pictures of the sky. Sorry, not sorry.

There are some good opportunities arising from crappy circumstances in May, and already the stars are aligning in my favour as A Beautiful Mess basically just published an e-course for me yesterday.

May is also going to start with a bang as I’m heading to Blogtacular in London and staying with a lovely lady I met on the internet {if you had said that to me 5 years ago, I would have thought you were a serial killer. It’s kind of crazy how well you can get to know bloggers online}. I’m incredibly excited for it and am counting down the days / wrecking my brain trying to figure out what outfits to bring in my incredibly limited hand luggage. My Hydrangea Girl necklace is a possibility {although, will I look like a complete jerk / twat wearing it?} but unfortunately I think my Vivienne Westwood gown simply will not fit in the overhead compartment.

So do you guys have anything you’re looking forward to this May? And I hope wherever you are, spring is well on its way! xx A

Instagram roundup – March

Today I’m a bit fuzzy as the clocks went forward an hour yesterday in this part of the world, so I feel completely and utterly robbed of an hour of sleep this morning and NOT COOL. I love my sleep and even though I went to bed really early last night {before 10pm. Yep, I’m totally an old lady}, I am still not able to make good sentence today. Who wants to publish polished and well written blog posts all the time? That’s boring.

Oh yeah, Instagram roundup. I like taking pictures and sometimes weird and / or interesting ones and then send them out to the Instagram universe. That first picture of the Bill Murray mask, that I am excited about and I’ll {hopefully} be able to share more of that this week!

So yeah. You can follow me on Instagram if you want. Or not! No worries. It’s cool. Spring forward sucks, but it does mean it’s brighter in the evenings for longer, so maybe I’ll appreciate that tomorrow. But for today, nope.

p.s. How could I forget to include one of my favourite Instavideos from March? Oh right. Lack of sleep on Monday. So here’s a sneaky video I took of husband trying to teach Toshi how to play with the Purina Go-Cat Cat Fishing game on our tablet. Enjoy! 😉

Instagram roundup – February

I’ve taken a little break from my blog these past two weeks. Not that anyone really noticed, but at the moment I’m half way through a few projects and everything is in the awkward middle ‘meh’ stage and not particularly blog worthy at the moment. So I’d rather wait to have something good to write about than blogging for the sake of it. You know what I mean?

Anyways, my point being is when I’m vacant in the blog department, you can be guaranteed to find me in the Instagram department as I’ve almost always got a pointless picture to share. For example, a picture of me holding stuff. I haven’t taken any pictures of my feet for a while now. Maybe I’ll take more pictures of my feet in March? Who knows. It really is that exciting and unpredictable.
Happy Friday, homies! It’s the freakin’ weekend and I can’t wait to take pictures of my projects so I can get back to proper blogging next week. xx A
