My favorite picks – all things festive

We planned to decorate our apartment for the festive season this past Saturday morning. As if by amazing coincidence, that morning we woke up to snow. And I’ve been in winter mode ever since.
2. Gift wrap ideas #5: snowflakes by Bugs & Fishes. One of my favorite things about Christmas is wrapping presents, and it looks like Laura shares my enthusiasm.
3. Cadbury’s hot chocolate. One of the staple items of Christmas cheer. Mmm.
4. Relativity by Escher. I’m really into his work at the moment, and it’s fueling my current college project.
5. fuggs {fake uggs}. I have a real pair, but for being about the house, my new {v. cheap} pair are perfect.
6. Marks & Spencer Port. A glass will warm the deepest most Scroodgiest parts of anyone.

My favorite picks – sushi and Madison

I have been big time neglectful of my blog over the past two weeks. I’ve had quite a whirl-wind of a fortnight and I’m at the point where I don’t know what day of the week it is. Except maybe if it’s a day off. I’ve found it hard to find highlights to my weeks over the past while, and that’s bothering me. It’s mostly due to my schedule.
1. Blue Mondays at Yo! Sushi. An excuse in and of itself to stuff my face with my all time favorite food.
2. Jesus Christ I’m a lion, by Married to the Sea. Always brightens up my day.
3. Tattoo Goo. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I was luckily given it by my tattoo artist at Tattoo Prime
4. Madison, Anne Street, Dublin 2. I only recently found out about Madison. It’s a shop. Dedicated. To hydrangeas. It’s as if Madison was made purely for my own unhealthy fascination with hydrangeas. Also, I feel I need to hook them up with a working website.

My favorite picks – getting ready for Halloween

1. Alternative pumpkins. Thorny vine from Country Living, and carved Storm Trooper from Pumpkin Gutter.
2. Show me how. My aunt passed these magazines along to me recently, and even though they’re older than me, these magazines are amazing.
4. Oh no not my face, by Natalie Dee. I live inside your face.
5. Candy corn. Another luxury we don’t have in Ireland. I found this great vegan candy corn recipe by The Urban Housewife. I am determined to make some this week.
