A little bird tweeted this picture to me a couple of weeks ago, and I had to splice it here. How gorgeous is this? And if they dry properly {as in not all stupid droopy} they will keep so beautifully. The front door on my future house better watch out. It’s going to get it good.
Well I don’t mind if I do. Thanks for the heads up Livlig! I took it further and googled some more hydrangea wreathes. Phwoar. Are they ever delicious.
What a gorgeous idea! Dunno how long it would last without being nicked around here though : )
I love it. Not sure if you know the tip about hairspraying dried flowers too, to seal them in and make them less crumbly 🙂
If only you could do things like this with ranunculus – my faves.
Same here Marie. Not that I don't trust my neighbors, I just wouldn't leave anything in our communal hallway.
I must try the hairspray thing! Thanks Mel. Although, I don't reach that point. My hydrangeas droop and borderline rot whilst I'm trying to dry them, so I need to succeed first in actually drying them properly.
Alex, I have always loved hydrangeas but you make me love them even more. I enjoy seeing them all over your blog!!
Mmm, the feeling is mutual. I think I need to step-up my level of hydrangea posting so as to keep up with my name.
..you can never have enough hydrangeas!
True dat.
I can't wait for spring so I can smother some!
