In Hong Kong, because of the lack of space, apartments are small and expensive. Gary Chang, an architect, decided to design a 344 sq. ft. apartment to be able to change into 24 different designs, all by just sliding panels and walls.
Gary creates an interchangeable and intricate environment with such a small amount of space. Utilizing every square foot was priority. Although, realistically I think this space would only be suitable for one to two people. The more I think about it, the more I wonder things like: where is the toilet? If you have guests over, would they need to stand in the communal hallway so you can do your ‘business’? God forbid you need to do a number two during a dinner party.
Totally! Where is the toilet? I need to know.
I'm with you on that.
