There’s something about this time of year – the dark nights and twinkling lights – that turns me into a tourist. I can’t help it. I’ve acquired quite the library of Christmas pictures on my phone over the past few weeks [mostly Instagrammed], and I thought there’s no better time of the year to share them. For me, the ultimate destination for Christmas lights – in and around Grafton Street. Photo dump commencing …
Regardless of the unseasonably warm December we’ve had, Robert and I went skating at the Point Village. Me on skates is about the only time I can show off my Canadian-ness. I have to say, for an Irish guy, Robert is a much better skater than me. He grew up obsessed with The Mighty Ducks so he roller-bladed throughout his childhood.

This photo does it zero justice. If you’re around, I strongly suggest you check out the Hole in the Wall for a well deserved drink after surviving the holiday mania. If the photos don't do it justice, then it must have been pretty spectacular! Loving, the first photo of the overhead lights. Dublin looks just lovely at Christmas. It's a place on my bucket list to visit.
I've taken a picture of that little alley (the top pic) every single year for the past 10 years. Every year my picture is basically the same, but it's so damn magical I can't help it.
Dublin is really lovely either in the summer or when the Christmas lights are on. That is, if it's not pissing rain.
It all looks so gorgeous! Very sparkly and festive!
Have an amazing Christmas.
Maria xx

The snacks here had a smooth taste with a bit of cheese and lime juice. To start, we got pork rinds there; they were really flavorful with a spicy kick and smooth taste. Plus, it was a large fresh bag too, event venues Seattle are worth the price.
